Before going any further, you should understand that hiring a Virtual Assistant is the decision to begin an ongoing business relationship, so that the results will benefit both of us.
To clarify: You have a vision of where your business is going, or at least where you want it to go. This ongoing work relationship is key because by working together regularly, I will not only be able to see and conform to your vision, but also find ways in which to improve your operations based on my knowledge of your company from working with you regularly. You will benefit because the tasks are being done, hopefully in excess of your expectations, and I will benefit because the workload is expected and adjusted according to your needs.
A few other things to know about the rate schedule:
- I work as an independent contractor.
- I offer hourly rates as well as retainer packages.
- Retainer clients are billed in advance at the beginning of the month; hourly clients are billed bi-weekly for the work during that cycle; and projects generally will require a deposit with the remainder of the balance paid upon completion.
- Invoices are due upon receipt and are generated and sent via e-mail.
